Features
Everything a mail client should do, done properly
From the unified inbox to the last attachment, here is what Senin Mail does today. Every item on this page is in the app now.
- Gmail, Outlook & IMAP
- Real folders
- Undo send
Perfect. I will bring the printed notes.
•••Inbox & sync
One inbox that stays current
Your accounts side by side, always up to date, with state that updates the moment it changes.
Unified inbox
Every account in one list, grouped by day, with sender avatars and account labels.
Account switching
Filter to one account from the sidebar or the chips above the list, each with its own unread count.
Incremental sync
Gmail history, Outlook delta and IMAP UID sync fetch only what changed, so updates are small and quick.
Live refresh
While the app is open, mail is re-checked every 10–15 seconds and the moment you return to the tab.
Read & unread, at a glance
Unread mail has a rail, a dot and bold text; read mail fades back. It flips live when you read it elsewhere.
Search & filters
Search across accounts, filter to Unread or Starred, and keep it all in the URL so it survives a refresh.
Reading
Read mail the way it was meant to be read
Conversations, formatting and attachments, without the clutter.
Threaded conversations
The full thread, including your own replies, with earlier messages collapsed to one line.
Quoted text folded
“On … wrote:” history hides behind a tap, so the new message is the first thing you read.
HTML mail, safely
Newsletters and designed emails render in a sandbox. Scripts are off and remote images are blocked until you allow them.
Light & dark themes
Plain mail adopts your theme. Designed emails show as authored, with an optional Dark view you can remember.
Attachments
See every attachment with its size and a thumbnail for images, and download with one click.
Deep links
Every message has a short, stable link such as /inbox/<id>. Bookmark it, share it, or open it in a new tab.
Writing
Compose without losing your place
The composer docks to the corner so you can keep reading while you write, and it has the things you'd expect from a modern editor.
- Recipient chips, contact suggestions and paste-a-list support
- Rich text: bold, italic, underline, lists, quotes, links
- Cc, Bcc and up to 50 recipients
- Minimise, go full screen, or work in the corner
- Reply, Reply all and Forward, with the original quoted correctly
Hi both,
Here is the updated proposal. The pricing section is rewritten and the timeline now includes the review week.
Thanks!
— Alex
Safety nets
Mistakes are cheap here
Small features that save you from big regrets.
Undo send
Every message waits 5 seconds before it leaves, and comes back to the editor if you change your mind.
Drafts in your mailbox
Drafts autosave to your provider's real Drafts folder, so you can pick them up in any other app.
Failed sends come back
If a send fails, the message reopens with everything you typed and a clear reason.
Confirmation first
Trash and permanent delete ask before they act, and explain what will happen.
Organising
Folders, labels and mailboxes in one sidebar
Create folders here and they exist in your mailbox too. File messages, rename or delete folders, and use Archive, Spam and Trash the way your provider defines them.
- Gmail labels, Outlook folders and IMAP mailboxes
- Create, rename, move and delete, with provider-specific warnings
- Unread counts for each folder
- Messages move instantly and roll back if the provider refuses
Attachments
Attach, forward and download with ease
Everything about files, in one clear flow.
Drag and drop
Attach up to 20 files, 18 MB in total, by dropping them on the composer.
Forward with files
Forwarding carries the original attachments along, and tells you if anything didn't fit.
Safe downloads
Files download rather than open, except images and PDFs that are safe to preview.
Resumes from drafts
Open a saved draft and its attachments are right there, ready to send.
Large files, handled
Big attachments are sent to Outlook in chunks, so they don't time out.
Cleaned filenames
Names are sanitised so a hostile filename can't cause trouble on download.
By provider
What works where
Senin Mail uses each provider's own features, so a few behaviours differ slightly. Here is the honest picture.
| Topic | Outlook / IMAP | Gmail |
|---|---|---|
| Unified inbox & folders | Full support | Full support, with labels as folders |
| Threaded conversations | Outlook yes · IMAP shows one message | Yes |
| Provider-side drafts | Yes | Yes |
| Delete forever | Yes, from Trash | Moves to Trash, which Gmail empties after 30 days |
| Update speed | Re-checked every 10–15 s | Re-checked every 10–15 s |
